The Bristol-Norfolk Medical Reserve Corps serves the communities of Attleboro, Norton, Mansfield, Foxboro, Plainville, Seekonk, North Attleboro, Rehoboth.  The BNMRC provides each community with teams of knowledgeable, experienced health professionals and dedicated supporting volunteers. The MRC Corps will be educated and trained to respond to any major community disaster.

The Silent Call Procedure

Did you know in the 1990's, State 911 established a "Silent Call" Procedure?  Here is how it works:
If a Massachusetts dispatcher answers a 911 call and it is silent, they will go through these steps to see if there is a response. You do not have to remember this procedure, they will ask you while on the telephone. The dispatchers screen will show them which numbers are being pressed.

Year Round Drug Disposal - When You've Missed Take Back Day

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day addresses a crucial public safety and public health issue.  According to the 2017 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 6 million Americans misused controlled prescription drugs.  The study shows that a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet.
The DEA's Take Back Day events provide an opportunity for Americans to prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths.

There are 2 authorized collectors in our area: CVS Pharmacy in North Attleboro at 8 East Washington Street and CVS Pharmacy in Mansfield at 261 Chauncy Street.
