Bragg and MacDonald Memorial Town Forest is an 80-acre woodland area located on Plain Street in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, featuring a mix of walking, hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing trails. The forest is known for its dog park, the town’s first, and offers a peaceful retreat with diverse wildlife and scenic trails.

The Bragg and MacDonald Yellow and Green Trail is the most popular trail in the forest, a 1.4-mile loop rated as easy with minimal elevation gain (16 ft). It is suitable for hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing, and is especially popular from July to October. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

The forest also hosts community events, such as seasonal hikes along the Upper Bungay River, often organized by the Friends of the Ten Mile River Watershed. Trail maps and updates are available through the town’s website and platforms like Trailforks and AllTrails.

Note: The compost center operations may restrict access to certain areas—avoid the site during open hours, typically on Saturdays.
