THE HEAVEN ZONE
Sounds hard, right? Walking in love 24/7, living by faith, blessing those that curse you, praying for those that despitefully use you, laying down your life for others, "enduring the cross" for the joy set before you, rejoicing always (and again I say REJOICE), praying without ceasing and not doing what I want to do when it's not what God wants...ALL THE TIME! My flesh, the sinful nature, does NOT want to cooperate! But, that's just too bad. I'm MAD! Mad as Heaven at all the hell that the enemy has brought on earth to people that God loves and through people who Jesus prayed for on the cross while He was dying for their sin...
"Forgive them, Father. They know not what they do."
There is no way we could do God's will 24/7 apart from the indwelling Holy Spirit and it's true that we will more than likely sin and fall short many times before we finally live in Heaven 24/7. That doesn't give us any excuses though, and that's what we have to get rid of, the I CAN'Ts and the IT'S TOO HARDs! I'm speaking to myself here! The enemy makes it easy to cop out, but don't listen or agree with the word of our enemy! Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ because whom the Son sets free is free indeed!
