Adult Grief Series at Community VNA
This six week series offered by Community VNA Hospice Care is a supportive program for anyone experiencing loss.
It will be held Tuesdays, 7:00PM to 8:30PM from October 18th to November 22nd.

Community VNA Hospice Care offers grief support to anyone in the community who has had a loss through death, not just for those who were cared for by hospice. The grief professionals, who specialize in loss for adults and children, offer suggestions and sources of support. They are a resource as well for those seeking guidance on how to support others who are grieving.

The program will review living options; identify community based care, services and resources; explore options to finance care choices; and learn the access points to connect to resources. Seminar presented by Carol Falcone, RN, Director, Mansfield Adult Day Health Center and Karole Nicholson, Community Outreach Manager, Community VNA.

2011 Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group
Community VNA offers a monthly support group designed for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month from 1:30PM – 2:30PM.

2011 GRIEF SUPPORT Programs for Adults and Children
Ongoing Support —
We offer a monthly drop-in support group, with an informal format in which those who are grieving may share experiences, support, and suggestions for coping on the journey through grief.
Meetings are on the first Monday of each month, from 7:00-8:30 PM.

CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP
One easy way to care for yourself is to get support from a support group. For caregivers of a loved one with a disability, the Norfolk Adult Day Health Center offers a free monthly support group.
The remainder of the 2011 schedule is as follows:

Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments are included.
The NADHC staff will provide respite care for the care partners of caregivers attending.
