| Are You In The Zone? |
The Attleboro Zone: Are you in?
Definition of in the zone: in a state of focused attention or energy so that one's performance is enhanced
If you want your business or organization to get the focused attention it needs, then do what I do when I can't see the written word...use a magnifying glass to MAGNIFY IT!
|
magnify - increase in size, volume or significance; to glorify or praise
The more you get your business OUT THERE for people to SEE, the more people you will attract to your business. So make it as attractive as possible without exaggerating the truth.
For instance, my online city guide, local information resource and business directory is an ideal place to magnify your local business or organization. Why? Because you are based in the Attleboros and you depend on the local people as well as surrounding communities to buy from you. These are the people I focus on, too. It does no good to tell you that I have high rankings on the search engines and that 1000s of people all over the world visit my site daily, (they don't) if your business won't benefit from that. I would be misleading you and giving you false hope. My purpose isn't just to earn a living, but to gain your respect and be a valued member of the community. Like the Good Book says, "a good name is to be desired more than gold." When you lose your good name, you lose a lot more than money. You lose respect, you lose your standing in the community and you lose your ability to be a positive influence in society. Money isn't everything and every little thing matters. Little things, like a misleading statement, to me, is not a good sign. When I find out I've been misled by some person or organization then I'm not going to recommend them to others. Instead, I may go out of my way to warn others about them. Instead of magnifying (glorifying and praising) them, I will be a witness and testify against them. Again, like the Good Book says, "What good is it to gain the whole world and lose your own soul?" It simply isn't worth it to not be worthy of being magnified by others. I'd rather have a golden name. Wouldn't you?
