A day late and a dollar short? It would be nice if we did every day what we said we would do. I wanted to write something in this blog daily. That's why it's called The Daily Penny! It was a small resolution, one that I committed to, one that I thought I could do...without fail, but...BUT NOTHING!
I could give you my list of excuses, but that would just waste my time and yours. The bottom line...I procrastinated and I MAY do it again. I'm not even going to use the excuse that I'M ONLY HUMAN! I may be, but when we have God we're not JUST human. We have God, "a very present help in time of trouble," one who has promised to "never leave you or forsake you!"
I'm not God, just one with God Who alone knows how to stretch a penny, Who alone can touch a penny and turn it into gold!
I need help doing what needs to be done and DOING IT ALL WELL! I can't do what God requires without His help! And that's how He planned for it to be...God and me, God and you, working together, coming together as one to do the impossible!
God knows that "we are but dust" that we need the Master's touch on all we do.
Yes, I'm but dust, but I've been touched by the Master. That's makes me valuable. That makes me gold dust!
Won't you receive Jesus into your heart, to INvest Himself in you? The Bible says that...
"If any man be in Christ Jesus he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. ALL things have become new!"
